American Terror: Manufactured by the FBI

James Corbett

The Boston Marathon bombing has provoked shock, grief and outrage from around the world. After decades of conditioning, the public automatically equates such terrorism with Muslim radicals. But the evidence shows that every major terror plot on American soil in the past 10 years has been fostered, funded and equipped by one organization: the FBI.

The Orwellian Warfare State of Carnage and Doublethink

By davidswanson – Posted on 17 April 2013

By Norman Solomon

After the bombings that killed and maimed so horribly at the Boston Marathon, our country’s politics and mass media are awash in heartfelt compassion — and reflexive “doublethink,” which George Orwell described as willingness “to forget any fact that has become inconvenient.”

In sync with media outlets across the country, the New York Times put a chilling headline on Wednesday’s front page: “Boston Bombs Were Loaded to Maim, Officials Say.” The story reported that nails and ball bearings were stuffed into pressure cookers, “rigged to shoot sharp bits of shrapnel into anyone within reach of their blast.”

Much less crude and weighing in at 1,000 pounds, CBU-87/B warheads were in the category of “combined effects munitions” when put to use 14 years ago by a bomber named Uncle Sam. The U.S. media coverage was brief and fleeting.

One Friday, at noontime, U.S.-led NATO forces dropped cluster bombs on the city of Nis, in the vicinity of a vegetable market. “The bombs struck next to the hospital complex and near the market, bringing death and destruction, peppering the streets of Serbia’s third-largest city with shrapnel,” a dispatch in the San Francisco Chronicle reported on May 8, 1999.

And: “In a street leading from the market, dismembered bodies were strewn among carrots and other vegetables in pools of blood. A dead woman, her body covered with a sheet, was still clutching a shopping bag filled with carrots.”

Pointing out that cluster bombs “explode in the air and hurl shards of shrapnel over a wide radius,” BBC correspondent John Simpson wrote in the Sunday Telegraph: “Used against human beings, cluster bombs are some of the most savage weapons of modern warfare.”

Savage did not preclude usage. As a matter of fact, to Commander in Chief Bill Clinton and the prevailing military minds in Washington, savage was bound up in the positive attributes of cluster bombs. Each one could send up to 60,000 pieces of jagged steel shrapnel into what the weapon’s maker described as “soft targets.”

An unusually diligent reporter, Paul Watson of the Los Angeles Timesreported from Pristina, Yugoslavia: “During five weeks of airstrikes, witnesses here say, NATO warplanes have dropped cluster bombs that scatter smaller munitions over wide areas. In military jargon, the smaller munitions are bomblets. Dr. Rade Grbic, a surgeon and director of Pristina’s main hospital, sees proof every day that the almost benign term bomblet masks a tragic impact. Grbic, who saved the lives of two ethnic Albanian boys wounded while other boys played with a cluster bomb found Saturday, said he had never done so many amputations.”

The LA Times article quoted Dr. Grbic: “I have been an orthopedist for 15 years now, working in a crisis region where we often have injuries, but neither I nor my colleagues have ever seen such horrific wounds as those caused by cluster bombs.” He added: “They are wounds that lead to disabilities to a great extent. The limbs are so crushed that the only remaining option is amputation. It’s awful, awful.”

The newspaper account went on: “Pristina’s hospital alone has treated 300 to 400 people wounded by cluster bombs since NATO’s air war began March 24, Grbic said. Roughly half of those victims were civilians, he said. Because that number doesn’t include those killed by cluster bombs and doesn’t account for those wounded in other regions of Yugoslavia, the casualty toll probably is much higher, he said. ‘Most people are victims of the time-activated cluster bombs that explode some time after they fall,’ he said.”

Later, during invasions and initial periods of occupation, the U.S. military dropped cluster bombs in Afghanistan and fired cluster munitions in Iraq.

Today, the U.S. State Department remains opposed to outlawing those weapons, declaring on its official website: “Cluster munitions have demonstrated military utility. Their elimination from U.S. stockpiles would put the lives of its soldiers and those of its coalition partners at risk.”

The State Department position statement adds: “Moreover, cluster munitions can often result in much less collateral damage than unitary weapons, such as a larger bomb or larger artillery shell would cause, if used for the same mission.” Perhaps the bomber(s) who stuffed nails and ball bearings into pressure cookers for use in Boston had a similarly twisted rationale.

But don’t expect explorations of such matters from the USA’s daily papers or commercial networks — or from the likes of NPR’s “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered,” or the PBS “NewsHour.” When the subject is killing and maiming, such news outlets take as a given the presumptive moral high ground of the U.S. government.

In his novel 1984, Orwell wrote about the conditioned reflex of “stopping short, as though by instinct, at the threshold of any dangerous thought . . . and of being bored or repelled by any train of thought which is capable of leading in a heretical direction.”

The doublethink — continually reinforced by mass media — remains within an irony-free zone that would amount to mere self-satire if not so damaging to intellectual and moral coherence.

Every news report about the children killed and injured at the finish line in Boston, every account of the horrific loss of limbs, makes me think of a little girl named Guljumma. She was seven years old when I met her at an Afghan refugee camp one day in the summer of 2009.

At the time, I wrote: “Guljumma talked about what happened one morning last year when she was sleeping at home in southern Afghanistan’s Helmand Valley. At about 5 a.m., bombs exploded. Some people in her family died. She lost an arm.”

In the refugee camp on the outskirts of Kabul, where several hundred families were living in squalid conditions, the U.S. government was providing no help. The last time Guljumma and her father had meaningful contact with the U.S. government was when it bombed them.

War thrives on abstractions, but Guljumma was no abstraction. She was no more or less of an abstraction than the children whose lives have been forever wrecked by the bombing at the Boston finish line.

But the same U.S. news media that are conveying the preciousness of children so terribly harmed in Boston are scarcely interested in children like Guljumma.

I thought of her again when seeing news reports and a chilling photo on April 7, soon after 11 children in eastern Afghanistan were even more unlucky than she was. Those children died from a U.S./NATO air strike. For mainline American journalists, it wasn’t much of a story; for American officials, it was no big deal.

“Circus dogs jump when the trainer cracks his whip,” Orwell observed, “but the really well-trained dog is the one that turns his somersault when there is no whip.”

PROOF! Boston Marathon Bombing is Staged Terror Attack – Alex Jones

April 18th, 2013

(AJC) – Unlike Oaklahoma City the FBI cannot confiscate all of the surveillance, cell phone, and thousands of cameras that were at the finish line of Boston Marathon. 4Chan posted dozens of photos showing Navy Seal or Private Security personnel carrying the same black back packs which are the same style backpacks showed in FBI photos. It’s becoming crystal clear. Get these articles and this video out to everyone you know.

“False-flag” meme goes mainstream with Boston Marathon bombing

April 18th, 2013

(VeteransToday) – On September 11th, 2001, the US media began chanting “Bin Laden” in unison almost from the moment the attack was reported. The possibility that US government insiders had orchestrated the attack – in order to blame Muslims, launch wars on Muslim countries, and seize near-absolute power – was never mentioned.Bin Laden’s repeated statements that he deplored the 9/11 attacks, considered them un-Islamic, and suspected that American supporters of Israel were behind them failed to penetrate the corporate media bubble. When the FBI definitively stated that Bin Laden was “not wanted” for 9/11 because there was “no hard evidence” of his involvement, the media blacked out the story. But after the Boston bombings of April 16th, 2013, even the corporate monopoly media could no longer ignore the possibility of a false-flag attack. Yahoo News asked “Who’s behind the Boston Marathon bombings?” and offered 4 theories: (1) Islamic jihadists, (2) Right-wing militia types, (3) the government, and (4) a criminally-insane lone wolf.Numbers (1), (2), and (4), of course, are the usual suspects. But including (3) “the government” on the suspects list is unprecedented for a mainstream news story reporting on a domestic terror incident. The false-flag meme’s growing prominence was underlined at Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick’s press conference after the bombings. The first question for Governor Patrick came from Infowars correspondent Dan Bidondi, who asked whether the bombings were “a false-flag staged event..to take away our civil liberties.” Patrick, of course, answered “no.”

Even the Atlantic Monthly, a neocon-lite magazine associated with names like Goldberg and Hitchens, felt compelled to publish a story headlined: “What Is a ‘False Flag’ Attack, and What Does Boston Have to Do with This?” Amazingly, the Atlantic article stated that yes, there is historical precedent for viewing the Boston bombing as a false-flag event. The author, Philip Bump, even admitted: “If the Boston attack had been a ‘false flag’ attack, Gov. Patrick would have responded ‘no’ anyway.”

What has changed since 2001 to bring the false-flag meme into the limelight?

Short answer: The 9/11 truth movement. During the past decade, millions of activists have been working to awaken the American and global publics to the evidence that 9/11 was an American Reichstag Fire. Polls show that 36% of Americans – roughly 100 million people – think it likely that 9/11 was an inside job. Many of these truth-seekers are highly-accomplished scientists, engineers, military and intelligence officers, and other experts. You can meet some of them at PatriotsQuestion911.com and AE911Truth.org.

Since the corporate mainstream media and the foundation-funded pseudo-alternative media have refused to report the facts about 9/11, roughly 100 million Americans consider the media moguls pathological liars. Even among the almost 200 million Americans who are not up-front 9/11 skeptics, the vague sense that something is wrong, and that the media and the politicians are lying, is widespread. A recent Pew Research poll, for example, showed that Americans’ trust in government has fallen to an all-time low: Fewer than one-third of Americans trust the government, while more than two-thirds do not.

As the people lose faith in their government, and the corporate media crumbles into bankruptcy, a vibrant new independent media has sprung up on the internet. The Alex Jones media empire, which pushes the false-flag meme about as hard as it can be pushed, now reaches an estimated five to ten million people. Jeff Rense, Mike Adams, Mike Rivero, Veterans Today, American Free Press, and the foreign-run English language outlets Press TV and Russia Today also reach large and influential audiences with honest reporting about false-flag events.

Today, it isn’t just a few marginalized radical intellectuals who think “false-flag” when they hear about an alleged domestic terror incident. Millions of people are sharing their suspicions about the Boston bombings on Facebook, Twitter, the blogosphere, and internet media in general.

Are they right?

Though it is too early to know for sure, the Boston bombings featured the most important telltale sign of a false-flag op: A terror drill running simultaneously, mirroring the actual attack. As Webster Tarpley has explained in his book 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, false-flag attacks such as 9/11 and 7/7 are designed as drills that suddenly “go live.” This allows insiders to plot and execute the attacks under cover of the drills, with the “Team B” bad guys actually carrying out the attacks they were supposedly going to feign.

September 11th, 2001 had been previously designated as by far the biggest special operations day in US history, with a total of 46 pre-planned drills and exercises, including live-fly planes-into-buildings exercises, providing cover for the insider attacks. (Google “Tarpley 46 drills of 9/11” for details.)

July 7th, 2005 also featured terror drills that went live. Peter Power, the UK’s biggest terror consultant, admitted on live television that all of the actual bombs that devastated London that day exploded at the exact times and places envisioned in the drills.

Were the Boston bombings a drill that went live?

Mobile, Alabama TV station Local TV 15 reported:

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.

“They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about,” Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15. “It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”

At 12:53 pm local time, the Boston Globe newspaper tweeted: “Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities.”

Then almost two hours later, at 2:50 p.m., bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 100 others.

Just a coincidence? Maybe. But since all of the biggest “terror attacks” in recent US history, including the two World Trade Center bombings and the Oklahoma City bombing, have been inside jobs, and since most of the “terror plots” discovered in the US since 9/11 have been created by the FBI, we have every right to be suspicious.

Terror bombings have only one beneficiary: Governments, and the wealthy families that own them.

As Vincent Vinciguerra, one of the perpetrators of the Operation Gladio terror attacks, explained: “You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force . . . the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security.”

Whatever the truth about the Boston bombings, it seems that the false-flag meme is infiltrating mainstream discourse. And it isn’t going to go away . . . at least not until 9/11 and other false-flag crimes are solved, and effective measures instituted to protect the public against the scourge of false-flag terror.

Post-Boston Bombings Fear-Mongering

By Stephen Lendman – Posted on 18 April 2013

Post-Boston Bombings Fear-Mongering by Stephen Lendman On April 17, major media reported Obama and Senator Roger Wicker (R. MI) receiving letters containing suspicious substances.  FBI testing continues. Initial evaluations confirmed ricin. A subsequent statement reported “inconsistent results.” Further analysis is being conducted.  Ricin is poisonous if inhaled, injected or ingested. It’s deadliest if inhaled. It’s potentially lethal. It’s not contagious. There’s no antidote. Both letters had similar markings. A separate report said Senator Richard Shelby (R. AL) received a suspicious package. Parts of Senate office buildings were cleared. Around midday April 17, the FBI’s National Press Office headlined “FBI Response to Reports of Suspicious Letters Received at Mail Facilities,” saying: “A second letter containing a granular substance that preliminarily tested positive for ricin was received at an offsite mail screening facility.”  “The envelope, addressed to the President, was immediately quarantined by US Secret Service personnel, and a coordinated investigation with the FBI was initiated.”  “It is important to note that operations at the White House have not been affected as a result of the investigation.” “Additionally, filters at a second government mail screening facility preliminarily tested positive for ricin this morning. Mail from that facility is being tested.” “Any time suspicious powder is located in a mail facility, field tests are conducted. The field and other preliminary tests can produce inconsistent results.” ” Any time field tests indicate the possibility of a biological agent, the material is sent to an accredited laboratory for further analysis.”  “Only a full analysis performed at an accredited laboratory can determine the presence of a biological agent such as ricin. Those tests are currently being conducted and generally take 24 to 48 hours.” “The investigation into these letters remains ongoing, and more letters may still be received. There is no indication of a connection to the attack in Boston.” Investigations remain ongoing. Senator Claire McCaskill (D. MO) said police have a suspect. “The person that is a suspect writes a lot of letters to members,” she said. Reports now say an arrest was made. Another one contradicted it. Perhaps one is imminent. What’s happening is reminiscent of post-9/11 anthrax attacks. Five people died. Seventeen others were infected.  Then Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D. SD) and Senator Patrick Leahy (D. VT) received letters containing extremely high levels of anthrax. Domestic terrorism was charged. Bio-weapons expert Steven Hatfill was wrongfully charged. Later he was exonerated. Bruce Edwards Ivins became a key suspect. No evidence linked him to the incidents. In July 2008, he overdosed and died. He did so after learning criminal charges were likely. None were filed. Other lives were disrupted. Humanity paid a big price. Anthrax attacks heightened fear. They facilitated what followed.Francis Boyle explained more. Bush officials wanted Patriot Act legislation passed. Daschle and Leahy held it up. The first draft suspended habeas rights. “All of a sudden out of nowhere came these anthrax attacks,” said Boyle. They were “super-weapons grade.” Special electro-static treatment created a trillion spores per gram. Only a government lab could produce it. Boyle contacted counterterrorism expert Spike Bowman. He met him earlier at a University of Michigan Law School conference. Bowman said the FBI was working with Fort Detrick on the matter. Each Pentagon branch is represented among its 7,800 military, federal and contractor employees. Four cabinet level agencies are represented. They include the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health and Human Services, and Department of Defense. Laboratories conduct various research projects. Post-9/11 anthrax was military grade. Subsequent reports confirmed it. In May 2002, the New Scientist said: “The DNA sequence of the anthrax sent through the US mail in 2001 has been revealed and confirms suspicions that the bacteria originally came from a US military laboratory.” Data released used “code names for the reference strains against which the attack strain was compared.”  “But New Scientist can reveal that the two reference strains that appear identical to the attack strain most likely originated at the US Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick (USAMRIID), Maryland.” After Boyle informed Bowman, FBI officials ordered the AMES cultural anthrax database destroyed.  Boyle called doing so a “blatant destruction of evidence as it means that there was no way of finding out which strain was sent to who to develop the larger breed of anthrax used in the attacks.” “The trail of genetic evidence would have led directly back to a secret but officially-sponsored US government biowarfare program that was illegal and criminal.” Coverup became official policy. Boyle later learned that Bowman “was the same FBI agent who sabotaged the FISA warrant for access to Zacarious Moussaoui’s computer, which contained information that could have facilitated the prevention of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.” He was later “promoted and given a decoration.” The Patriot Act passed overwhelmingly. Other police state laws followed. So did Bush and Obama wars on humanity. Everything that happened was pre-planned. Boyle said repressive laws “are the precursors to a military dictatorship.” Bush, Cheney and other top administration officials “knew a terrorist attack was coming….(T)hey wanted a war and they wanted a police state….” “(A)ll the elements for a war against Afghanistan were there in place, even the military force in the gulf….in the Atlantic, in the Mediterranean, in the Arabian Ocean” pre-9/11. Multiple aggressive direct and proxy wars followed. More are planned. Repressive police state laws subverted constitutional freedoms. Obama’s likely got more in mind. He’ll take full advantage of the Boston bombings. Investigators say they identified a suspect. Reportedly he’s dark-skinned. A security video allegedly showed a man depositing a bag near where one explosion occurred. Authorities say they’re “very close” in their investigation. We’ve heard these type reports before. Media scoundrels hype fear. They regurgitate official lies. Innocent people are framed. The court of public opinion convicts them. Accusations follow.  Guilty parties remain free. Global wars continue. New ones are planned. Tougher police state laws are enacted. Today is perhaps the most perilous time in world history.  What’s happening should scare everyone. Boston’s bombings are very suspicious. We’ve seen this all before. It suggests state-sponsored terrorism. It won’t surprise if later evidence confirms it. Media scoundrel fear-mongering clouds clear thinking. People accept what they should oppose. America heads closer to full-blown tyranny. Obama likely planned it that way. He’s waging war on humanity. He may end up destroying it. Stephen Lendman lives in Chicago. Keep America Focused on Boston Bombing While They Strip us of Rights and Prepare for War

Washington Perfects The Art of Illusion
“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!”
Frank L. Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Daisy Luther
Activist PostThe bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon was a shocking act of terror. All over the world, people watched in horror as the bombs went off, as people staggered and fell, and in the aftermath, saw the gory bloodstained sidewalks and graphic photos of people missing limbs. We don’t expect acts like this to occur in America. Although this is a regular occurrence in places like Iraq, where 55 people died, the victims of bombings that very same day, it seems to people in the insulated Western World that it is far more appalling when it occurs on American soil.

And with that shock value comes a tool kit for the powers that be.

A horrific act that has society reeling can serve multiple purposes. It can distract the people from manipulations that would generally cause backlash. It can make people plead for protection, which always means the taking away of another right. And, finally, it can serve as a tool to propagandize a message and demonize the villain of the day. This is not a debate about whether the bombing was a false flag or a legitimate act of terrorism. It’s not a comparison of the losses here versus those in a desert on the other side of the world. It isn’t about the ethnicity of the bomber, who might be getting set up as an unwitting patsy, or who is actually responsible for the bombing itself. This is a notification: the people who pull the strings will use this horrific instance of violence to manipulate and control the American people.

Please save us, Police State!

One thing that the events like the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the 9/11 hijackings, the Aurora theater shooting, and this most recent act of violence all have in common is the fear factor. The very randomness of these attacks makes them even more terrifying. You think that sending your child off to school, going to the movies, traveling by air to go visit family, going to work in a high-rise, or watching a race would be the most harmless of activities. Everyone does these things. These are not the types of risky behaviors that are fueled by vast quantities of alcohol. No one was behaving recklessly by going to watch Batman. Brutal acts of violence occurred during these ordinary activities, and this says, by sheer normalcy, that this could happen to you too.

Many people seek protection when they are afraid. And this is when the government steps in with something like a new gun control law or, after 9/11, the PATRIOT Act, all presented in a way to make us feel safer. But what is actually happening is a chiseling away of your God-given rights, all in the name of security and safety. People actually plead for their rights to be taken away. Who can forget NYC Mayor Bloomberg’s offensive “Demand a Plan” video response to the Sandy Hook shootings?

Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security. –Ben Franklin

Creating Monsters

Immediately after the Boston Marathon bomb, without any evidence whatsoever, the mainstream media and government mouthpieces began pointing the finger at the current bogeymen of choice, those who resist the establishment. Any patriotic believer in the Constitution was fair game for speculation.

Phrases like “right-wing extremists”, “homegrown terror”, “so-called Patriots”, “Tea Party”, “anti-tax protesters”, and “anti-government groups” were bandied about as the likely culprits. Without one shred of evidence, a bulls-eye was immediately painted on those who love God, liberty, and the founding principles of the country.

Salon.com even posted an article offensively entitled “Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American.”

In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

Don’t be surprised if an unwitting patsy is wheeled forth by the media – he’ll be white, own an AK-47, fly a Gadsden flag, and carry a well-thumbed pocket copy of the Constitution. Why? Because this culprit will fit the agenda of making those who resist the unconstitutional activities of the government look like crazed killers, terrifying lunatics, and all-around dangers to society. The message is this: “Is your next door neighbor a prepper or a constitutionalist? Look out, because the next thing you know, he’ll blow you up too – you’d better report him, or at the very least keep your eye on him!”

The Art of Distraction

When someone is performing a magic trick and they make wide flourishing gestures, it’s often to distract the audience from the sleight-of-hand needed to produce the illusion.

This is the Big Kahuna of benefits to a crisis for the Powers That Be. Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, President Obama’s ally in Chicago, famously said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste, and what I mean by that is it’s an opportunity to do thinks that you think you could not do before.”

It’s very clear that whatever the source of this crisis, Washington has no intention of letting the Boston Marathon bombing go to waste.

There are several things going on in Washington that would be much more easily accepted if they’re just quietly slipped in. Washington doesn’t want an uproar from outraged citizens. The politicians that run things have a penchant for sneaky maneuvers.

1.) For example, did you know that late Monday, incidentally, the day of the Marathon, Obama signed into law that makes it easier for members of Congress and their staffers to engage in insider trading? There’s a reason that most politicians are rich, and it’s not generally because they’re just lucky. According to “On the Money“, The Hill’s economy and finance blog:

President Obama quietly signed legislation Monday that rolled back a provision of the STOCK Act that required high-ranking federal employees to disclose their financial information online.

The White House announced Monday that the president had signed S. 716, which repealed a requirement of the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act requiring the disclosure, which had previously been delayed several times by Congress.

That provision, added to the bipartisan bill aimed at halting insider trading by members of Congress, would have required roughly 28,000 senior government officials to post their financial information online, and had come under harsh criticism from federal government employee unions.

Both chambers of Congress quickly — and near silently — approved the repeal legislation at the end of last week by unanimous consent, just before heading home to their districts.

But wait – there’s more.

2. ) Today, just about the time it was announced that a suspect was in custody – but then it was announced that there was not a suspect in custody – but then it was announced that there were photos of a suspect – in the midst of the confusion, while people were busily googling whether or not there was actually even a suspect…

…shhh…the US Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee very quietly and with little ado, adopted “Senate Resolution 65,” by “which the US will support Israel in case it is compelled to take military action and actualize its right to self defense in the face of an Iranian threat …The resolution stipulates that Israel will enjoy Washington’s diplomatic, economic and military aid.” (source)

3.) Add to this a crucial vote on the “Safe Communities, Safe Schools Act of 2013“, an innocuous sounding bill that was narrowly defeated in Congress today by a mere 6 votes. This was “a bill to ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the national instant criminal background check system and require a background check for every firearm sale, and for other purposes.”

An irate Obama made a statement amidst tearful families of the Sandy Hook shooting, calling this a “shameful day for Washington.”

“Do we really think that thousands of families whose lives have been shattered by gun violence don’t have a right to weigh in on this issue? Do we think their — their emotions, their loss is not relevant to this debate?” Obama asked.

The president vowed “this effort is not over” and urged Americans to voice their opposition to inaction.

I see this as just round one,” he said. “I believe we’re going to be able to get this one. Sooner or later we are going to get this right. The memories of these children demand it, and so do the American people. (source)

4.) And finally, don’t forget CISPA, the vote on which was scheduled to be held today but has been postponed until tomorrow. Perhaps to muffle the cries of outrage from Internet users across the country, a bomber will be duly produced. Since Washington has been unable to pass SOPA or PIPA, their desire to troll the Internet and rummage through your email is back with CISPA. ”CISPA will allow private sector firms to search personal and sensitive user data of ordinary U.S. residents to identify this so-called “threat information”, and to then share that information with each other and the US government — without the need for a court-ordered warrant.” (source) Today, amendments to CISPA that would have protected the privacy of Internet users were defeated, and the bill, in all it’s nosy, Big Brother glory, will go before the House for a vote tomorrow.

So, as they said in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”

Don’t be distracted by the theatrics. Don’t be manipulated by fear. Don’t let the media tell you how to think or who is scary. If your attention is directed to one place, be sure to pay attention to everything else. Watch carefully how this proceeds, because this is a blueprint used by manipulative governments around the world – and you can learn from it. After you see the truth you will never watch the mainstream news the same way again.

Chaos engulfs Boston as mainstream media can’t get its cover story straight

Mike Adams
Natural News
April 18, 2013

Boston is now in a state of near-chaos over the Boston marathon bombing investigation. Their story keeps changing, too: first there was a “controlled explosion” planned at the Kennedy Library on the same day as the bombing (Boston Globe), but that was later explained away as a “building fire” that had nothing to do with the bombing.

Then there’s CNN reporting a suspect has been arrested, after which the network was blasted by the FBI for fabricating news. CNN has since retracted its arrest claim.

Today, the Boston federal courthouse was suddenly evacuated over a “code red” bomb threat, causing chaos to reign over planned press conferences and announcements by the FBI.

CNN deeply engaged in total news fabrication

As part of its total fabrication of fake news surrounding the Boston marathon bombings, CNN has proclaimed an episode of “Family Guy” to somehow be a “hoax” even when the episode actually exists. According to CNN, Paul Joseph Watson’s highlighting of two scenes from the same episode of the Family Guy cartoon — which depicted cell-phone bomb detonations and a character winning the Boston marathon by murdering other runners — is somehow equivalent to a “hoax.”

In addition, the Boston police department claims there was no drill taking place on the day of the bombings, yet we have an interview with a credible eyewitness who describes in great detail the “drills” that were announced over loudspeakers.

The media has also reported there were no additional explosive devices found, yet this recording of police audio sharply contradicts that, revealing the apparent existence of other explosive devices.

Media refuses to acknowledge existence of private military contractors on the scene

But the real story — and perhaps the biggest story of all — has been blown wide open, first by researchers at 4chan.org, and then covered by Anthony Gucciardi, Paul Joseph Watson and Alex Jones. It reveals that there were private military contractors with backpacks operating at the scene.

Here’s an image of the private military operatives, snapped on the day of the marathon:
Chaos engulfs Boston as mainstream media cant get its cover story straight Boston Marathon 1

As you can see from the above image, these private military operatives are both wearing the exact same uniforms: tan BDUs, tan military boots, dark jackets, communications gear and black backpacks.

But what gets really interesting is when you look at the symbols on the hat one of them is wearing:

Chaos engulfs Boston as mainstream media cant get its cover story straight Boston Marathon 5

This “skull” symbol just happens to be the symbol of a group of military contractors called “The Craft.”

The following picture shows former group member Chris Kyle (who was recently murdered, by the way), sitting with his sniper rifle and wearing the “Craft” hat with the skull symbol:

But an even better look at the symbol comes from the Craft’s own website, where training photos show the symbol with great clarity:

“The Craft” has a reputation of being something like an “elite Blackwater,” and the presence of “Craft” operatives on scene at the Boston marathon bombing is an absolute bombshell of a news story.

Yet the mainstream media absolutely refuses to mention it at all. Ever wonder why?

Because as usual, you are being spoon-fed a cesspool of lies by the mainstream media — an institution of false information that has already decided to make sure the aftermath of this event follows a predetermined outcome of blaming patriots… even if it means fabricating, ignoring or selectively deleting evidence.

Whatever happened to the era when the media’s job was to ask questions? Now that job rests solely with the alternative media — the only institution that still has the integrity to question the official cover stories and get to the bottom of real-world events.

‘Boston bombing organizers clearly very serious professionals who know what they’re doing’

RT
April 18, 2013

There are no safety guarantees in settings like the Boston Marathon, especially with terrorism adapting to security protocols, Russian ‘Alpha’ Special Forces team-veteran and vice-president of its International Association Aleksey Filatov told RT.

And since this tragedy, the worst terror attack in the US since 9/11, has revealed major domestic security gaffes, and it would become hard for anyone to speak against whatever anti-terror initiative President Obama comes up with, Filatov also indicated.
RT: Can you give an overall expert assessment of what has happened, from a security standpoint? Could this terrorist act have been averted?

AF: I think what happened in Boston was definitely a terror act. And despite the fact that expert analyses showed the explosives to be of quite low yield, I think the terrorists have achieved their objectives. The American public, and world public as a whole were struck by the news and the pictures of what took place in Boston. So, in terms of the terrorists’ desire to strike panic into everyone’s hearts – they were successful. To discuss the negligence of the American special services in this situation would be unbecoming, unprofessional and, frankly, stupid. We know that the last serious terrorist attack on American soil had happened way back in 2001. Such a long stretch of time since, given the number of enemies and the attitude toward the US in many parts of the world, shows how effective US security services are at what they do. I’d just like to say that giving a 100 percent guarantee of safety in such a situation is virtually impossible. Terrorism changes, it adapts with time to the norms and security protocols of its targets. To secure a 1-2 kilometer track completely in this scenario is next to impossible.

RT: Could you comment on the standard operating procedures, or the preventive measures normally in place under the given circumstances?

AF: The most effective intelligence and security agencies are those that work to prevent such things from happening. This is normally done by inserting agents into the suspected terrorist group, which in the end normally leads to an operation to arrest multiple members of the group before an attack is carried out – usually on the very day. Such cases are commonplace, but they are not advertised much. Major resources are spent on preparations for such undercover missions. As far as events like the Marathon go, there is normally a human shield of officers, coupled with sniffer dogs. But despite the manpower, these measures may not always be effective: dogs may not pick up the scent from distance as well as they do up close. The technical arsenal here is quite primitive, and to evade these cordons and avoid being picked up by dogs or detectors, is not an impossible feat for a trained terrorist.

RT: Could you speak a bit more about the kind of terrorist preparation that goes into something like this?

Well, from the simple construction and low yield of the explosives, I can tell you that we should be looking out not for the skill of the person carrying out the attack, but at the intentions of its organizers. We shouldn’t take for granted the fact that no one claimed responsibility. These things were meant to detract attention from its true purpose and its real organizers. A very low quantity of explosive was used – but the political impact of the crime was absolutely huge. The entire world was watching. Thankfully, not many casualties emerged, but that was not the point. The explosion was planned to perfection; it happened at the exact time and place as was intended. The organizers are clearly very serious professionals who know what they’re doing.

RT: Could you personally speculate on who might have carried out the attack?

AF: Of course, the number one suspect, according to many experts, are radical Islamists, having been actively clamped down on worldwide by American forces. Many correctly point to North Africa and the Middle East. However, the chain of events gives credence to another hypothesis – one I think has its rightful place in the discussion. On the one hand, we hadn’t seen a terrorist attack on US soil for 12 years. This may have led to a relaxing of efforts on the part of the US agencies. On the other hand, however, American society has long been harboring a feeling that, while they live in relative peace, their soldiers are coming home in body bags. The people themselves feel discontented with the fact that they don’t come in contact with the much propagated threat of terrorism while that takes place. The White House has recently been countering this dilemma by announcing their withdrawal from direct military confrontations with terrorism on foreign land, instead opting for a less involved financial and training backing they now offer to foreign governments in their own fight against terrorism. All of a sudden, we get this terrorist attack for which no one claims responsibility… this begs the question,“what will happen next?”I think American society will eagerly change their mind again, choosing to view the last 12 years of peace and quiet as credit to the security services and agencies that protect them. The agencies come out as having shown that active involvement of US forces in the fight against terrorism abroad works, basically. So, I think that President Obama and the White House may need to go back on their promise of a lesser, direct foreign involvement, and instead revert to sending troops abroad once again, spending big sums on operational costs and so on. We know for a fact that Americans show this incredible potential for bonding in the face of adversity. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who will be willing to disagree with anything the US president says or does next regarding terrorism.

RT: Do you think that what happened might then be beneficial to Obama, or only create more problems?

AF: I think the US government, the Democrats, will be able to pull out of this one successfully and relatively painlessly. Despite the agencies’ failure to prevent the attack, it will only serve to increase American presence and military involvement worldwide.

RT: Do you think this will raise or lower the tensions in the international arena? What might this entail?

AF: Well, I’ve never been a supporter of the Libyan strategy; we can also take a look at Syria and the arming of the opposition there, which is fueling a civil war…. All of these things have and will continue to be presented in such a way as to step up the so-called war on terror. It will effectively untie the US government’s hands and allow them more freedoms in military operations that only yesterday might have aroused major criticism from the American public. Unfortunately, American politicians will only gain from all this. We may see a new Libya, a new Syria, and so on. The pursuit of US national economic and financial interests on foreign territory will continue unhindered.

Private Security with Black Backpacks Spotted at Boston Marathon

Prison Planet.com
April 18, 2013

Alex examines the tell-tale signs that point to the Boston Marathon explosions in all likelihood being a false flag attack perpetrated by our own government to take our freedoms, from denials of a drill by appointed officials, to eyewitness accounts of people told prior to the race to stay calm because bomb-sniffing dogs and beefed-up security were part of a “training exercise.” Alex also analyzes attempts by the liberal press and certain politicians to predictably blame the bombing on “domestic terrorists,” specifically “right-wing extremists.”
