Pyramids on Mars

“Hoagland’s Mars: The NASA-Cydonia Briefings” is a study regarding monuments on Mars. NASAs Viking first photographed the Monuments of Mars in 1976. The Viking photographs show what looks like a face on Mars in an area known as Cydonia. Viking also photographed a five-sided pyramid, several four-sided pyramids, and other distinctive objects. A number of people, including Vincent di Pietro and Gregory Molenaar, NASA subcontractors, and later Richard Hoagland, got the Viking photographs from NASA and released them. After interpreting the photographs of monuments on Mars, which NASA was very reluctant to acknowledge, Hoagland, along with geologist Errol Torun, began exploring the geometry of the objects in them. As he learned more about the science of scared geometry and studied in great depth the images, he discovered that the angles between the pyramids described mathematically in great detail a tetrahedron inscribed in a sphere. When you have a tetrahedron inscribed in a sphere with the apex placed at either pole, the base will touch the sphere at 19.47 degrees (rounded off to 19.5 degrees) of the latitude opposite that pole. If you have a star tetrahedron (two back-to-back tetrahedrons) inscribed in a sphere, the two bases will touch the sphere at 19.5 degrees north and south. Richard Hoagland found this angle repeated over and over in the images of the pyramids on Mars. This turns out to be a very significant angle. Hoagland also studied images of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune taken by various unmanned NASA spacecraft. He found that the red spot on Jupiter sits at 19.5 degrees latitude. The great dark spot on Neptune is at 19.5 degrees latitude and researches believe there is a similar dark spot on Uranus at 19.5 degrees south latitude. On Saturn there are two cloud bands at 19.5 degrees latitude north and south. In addition, when you track sunspot activity, its primary focus seems to be 19.5 degrees north and south latitudes. Thus, there are major concentrations of planetary energy at 19.5 degrees north and south. On Earth, the Maunakea Volcano on the Hawaiian Islands falls at 19.5 degrees north. NASA did not want us to know about the discovery of pyramids on Mars and has done everything it can to ridicule interested parties, even those within their organization. Why does NASA not want us to know about this? It has to do with the secret government, the Greys, and the Earth changes, which are explained later. There is another monument complex on Venus that NASA also knows about. In January 1985, NASA discovered the Venus Complex, which is identical to the one at Giza in Egypt; three pyramids, a Sphinx–exactly the same. There are over 200 photographs of this Cytherean complex. The Mental Health Committee of the U.S., a twelve-person committee consulted by NASA whenever it comes up with evidence indicating there is life on other planets, gave permission in May 1985 to release this information about Venus to the public. This meant that NASA was bound by law to report it. NASA broadcasted the information on a single television station in Florida one time and that was it. By putting this information out only once NASA fulfilled its legal requirement to make the information public and was able to get away with suppressing it after this initial revelation. There are also complexes on the moon, ancient Egyptian as well as present-day secret government complexes. We have three small bases on the dark side of the moon. The secret project Clementine, conducted by the SDI-affiliated branch of NASA, involved the launch of a spacecraft to this region on the day of president Clinton’s state of the union address in 1994. There is a ton of proof out there; the government discredits most of it, but even so, the global consciousness of the human race, deep down, really knows the truth: That we are not alone.

The D&M Pyramid appears to be positioned with architectural alignment to other enigmatic objects nearby that have also been studied as possibly artificial. The main axis of the D&M as illustrated below, points at the Face in Cydonia. Henceforth we will refer to this direction as the “front” of the pyramid. The front of the D&M Pyramid has three edges, spaced 60 degrees apart. As noted above, the center axis points to the Face. The edge on the left of this axis points toward the center of a feature that has been nicknamed the “City” by the Cydonia investigators. The edge on the right of the center axis points toward the apex of a dome-like structure known as the “Tholus”. The five-sidedness, bilateral symmetry, and primary alignments were first observed by Richard Hoagland after studying quality digital enlargements prepared in 1984 by SRI International from negatives of images processed by DiPietro and Molenaar. Turning back to the reconstructed geometry, we will now consider the internal symmetries of this object. The D&M Pyramid displays a complex interplay between five-fold and six-fold symmetry. Both symmetries are present simultaneously, with the front of the pyramid exhibiting six-fold symmetry, and the “ground level” of the pyramid yielding a 36 degree angle that is characteristic of five-fold symmetry. It is worth noting that the practice of combining symmetries was widely practiced by the architects of antiquity. It was believed that geometry and certain mathematical relationships were crucial building blocks of the Cosmos, and that architecture should reflect these symmetries. These practices were later revived in the Islamic world and especially in Renaissance Europe. The angles formed by the D&M Pyramid when viewed from above differ from each other. Consequently, they can form various ratios. These angle ratios were studied to see if the values were significant, or merely random. The angle ratios display significant values, with a preponderance of square roots and fractions involving square roots. Once again, we have a theme used by Classical architects, who used the square roots of two, three, and five in laying out the proportions of their buildings. For clarity, three of these angle ratios are illustrated below:

The ratios of the shaded angles are equivalent to the indicated values. In the above  illustration, the ratio of the shaded angles is equivalent to the ratio of e (the base of the natural logarithms) and pi (the relationship between a circle’s diameter and circumference).

(This ratio of e/pi is nearly equal to the square root of three divided by two, and the precision of measurement, +/- 0.2 deg, is insufficient to distinguish between these two possible values.) A table has been prepared displaying a list of the measured angles, and the results of the analysis. The square roots of three and five, and the values of e and pi predominate. The identity of these values is strengthened by the numerous combinations in which they occur. Note that the radian measure and trigonometric functions of some angles yield the same values produced by the angle ratios. The geometry thus has a common contextual thread. As mentioned earlier in the section on criteria, all of this geometry is “dimensionless”, i.e. it is not dependent on such cultural conventions as counting by tens, or measuring angles in the 360 system. This geometry will “work” in any number system. Conclusions This investigation of the D&M Pyramid reveals a morphology that is inconsistent with the surrounding geology. The geo morphological processes observed to exist on Mars not only fail to provide a potential mechanism for the D&M Pyramid’s formation, but seem to preclude its very existence. Analysis of the object’s geometry, and its alignment with other anomalous landforms, reveal intricate relationships that are numerous and logical, and are suggestive of highly sophisticated design. This object has been compared with the elaborate symbolic architecture of antiquity. While much of the geometry is the same utilized by Classical architects, it is important to note that the implementation is totally different. Nowhere in Earth history is this exact type of geometric symbolism to be found. The same techniques used for most of this century in air photo interpretation show that the D&M Pyramid may be artificial, or may be a natural landform modified by intelligence. The true nature of this object can be resolved by re-imaging the Cydonia region to obtain high-resolution imagery of the D&M Pyramid and the other enigmatic landforms nearby. The issue of possible ruins at Cydonia is thus the only question involving extraterrestrial intelligence that can be easily resolved with known scientific means.

The Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft will image the infamous “Face On Mars” shortly after it begins mapping the martian surface in 1998 (the spacecraft arrives at Mars in September 1997). NASA will post the pictures on Global Surveyor’s Web Site ( AS SOON AS THEY ARE RELEASED! The high-resolution pictures are expected to show details as small as 10 feet across, ten times better than the best Viking images. Please visit my website for the latest updates. I wish to acknowledge Dr. Mark J. Carlotto, The Analytic Sciences Corporation, the National Space Science Data Center for the imagery and coordinate information, and Mr. Richard C. Hoagland for background information and collaboration on the research described herein.

The following pictures are blending from Pyramids in Egypt on Earth and The Pyramid complex on Mars at Cydonia.  The blend shows clearly the exact same positioning of the town and pyramids on both planets.
