Hurricane Helene has finished its trek up the eastern seaboard from the Gulf of Mexico, and one of the hardest-hit areas in its path was Asheville, N.C., and the surrounding region, which is in absolute chaos.
The Wall Street Apes (@WallStreetApes) account on X shared the following video footage of a young man explaining the horrors taking place in Asheville as most roads in and out of the area of blocked off or destroyed. Looters and vandals are also ransacking the city, the young man explains.
"There were some truckers coming in with supplies and medical stuff trying to help us," the man says, adding that people were slashing the tires of these supply trucks at rest stops.
"The roads are completely blocked off. You're not getting out. If you have a weapon, keep it on you because there are people intentionally sabotaging stuff."
Everything can change in an instant
The same guy from the above video put out a second video – watch below – in which he asks the world for help. The Asheville area is without electricity, food, water and in many cases, gasoline.
Watch as he describes Asheville post-Helene as feeling like a "war zone." Law enforcement is stretched too thinly as it tries to deal with both the environmental fallout from the storm as well as the social fallout.
The Walmart store where the young man works in Leicester, located just west of Asheville, is flooded out and non-operational. The area as a whole remains off-limits except for aid that arrives by airplane or mule since many roads are washed out or gone. Officials are turning away some of the people who are arriving to help because of further threats to infrastructure, i.e., a bridge collapse.
"I can't help but feel there is something more sinister going on with the response to Hurricane Helene," tweeted The Greenback (@GreenbackNote) on X. "Chaos is breaking out with seemingly no federal aid. Whole communities wiped out and it's barely on the news."
"Doesn't this feel like it's part of their plan to disrupt the election?" asked another.
"How much of a pathetic lowlife do you have to be to slash tires on truckers who are trying to deliver supplies to an area that was just devastated?" tweeted someone else. "Find them, lock them up and throw away the key."
Others expressed shock and horror that not even the National Guard is on site to help remediate the disaster, especially after the Biden regime just sent more American service members to the Middle East to help Israel.
"This has Maui vibes where help was purposely blocked or sabotaged," expressed another about the disturbing false flag implications of this terrible storm.
"The National Guard should be there enforcing law, guarding supply lines, and helping protect the vulnerable."
These horrific events are part of the beginning of sorrows.

People in parts of the Carolinas, Tennessee, and other storm-stricken states are standing their ground as looting reports flood X. This dire situation highlights the harsh reality that when disaster strikes and the government is nowhere to be found, being prepared and armed will save your life.
Eight illegal aliens were arrested in the eastern part of Tennessee for looting following the tropical system that unleashed flash floods in Washington County. Maybe these migrants were searching 'for bread' to feed their families... We suspect not.
The other five men — Albin Nahun Vega-Rapalo, 24, David Bairon Rapalo-Rapalo, 37, Kevin Noe Martinez-Lopez, 25, Marvin Hernandez-Martinez, 43, and Dayln Gabriel Guillen Guillen, 37 — were charged with aggravated burglary for breaking into occupied structures, the sheriff's office said. -NYPost.Eight “migrants” have been arrested for looting and stealing from those in my area (East Tennessee) who have lost everything from the flooding.

In Greenville County, South Carolina, just an hour south of storm-damaged Ashville, North Carolina, Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis told looters his residents are "very well armed."

Just north of Greenville in western North Carolina, a video uploaded on TikTok, then X, of realtor Leigh Brown, who warned, "The looting has picked up major steam," adding, "I was advised by a county sheriff to make sure that anybody out and about is 'carrying' and in his words 'carrying with the safety off.'"
Brown said the people out in the storm-ravaged area might not be "awful people, they're desperate" as their homes and towns were wiped off the face of the map by 'biblical floods.'
