The System Is A Charade

Trump/Vance Wins!

Miles Mathis | mileswmathis.com

A lot of people are asking me for commentary on the Trump win, knowing I will say something no one else is. Yep, you can count on me for that.

Before I respond to specific things, let me just remind you of the big picture here. We will start at the deepest end of the pool and swim up. Some have said this one was just too big to steal, so Trump won despite interference. Nope. No election is too big to steal, or ever was. They have stolen bigger ones than this. The election is just the wallpaper in the final room of the stageplay, and with computers they can re-wallpaper the whole thing overnight, to fit any script update. Since Harris had almost no real support, it would have been a huge push of the numbers, but that doesn't make it hard. Computers can push an election 40 points just as easily as they can push it two. Makes no difference to them. So if they had wanted to give this to Harris, they easily could have.

But they didn't want to. That was never the plan. The plan—as I have been telling you for years—was to tank the Dems on purpose, to remanufacture parity between the two parties and move the country further right. In our pre-fabricated two-party system, the rulers need near-parity between the parties, to make voters feel powerful. The whole system is just a charade, since the rulers don't care what citizens think at all. But voting and polling and things like that create a facade that implies they do. So they can't have one party dying or getting too weak. In that case they have to step in and re-create the appearance of parity at any cost. That's what the last couple of decades has been about, and especially the last four years. The Dems were given the worst platform imaginable while the Reps suddenly became the everyman's best friend. The Dems magically and mysteriously started doing everything wrong while the Reps started doing everything right. To many of us it seemed the historical platforms had flipped. By that I don't mean the Dems had previously been doing everything right, I mean that the Reps—historically the party of the fatcats—suddenly became big populists. Like with Teddy Roosevelt and Reagan, but even moreso. That was no accident. In a decade of rising populism and declining trust in government and media, you would expect both parties to try to appeal to the largest percentages. I don't believe the Reps are earnest in their bows to the dispossessed, but my point is you would have expected the Dems to try to outdo the Reps in appealing to the masses. That was their historical constituency after all, and they should have known how to talk to those people. Instead, they did just the opposite, attacking their own working-class people as Nazi garbage. That, by itself, is so suspicious it blows the cover of the entire project.

Some on the left are now claiming the election was stolen for Trump. And as you see, in a way it was. In the long script, he was destined to win, so it was stolen in that sense. But they had prepared everything leading up to this so well, they didn't have to steal the actual election yesterday. The disaster of the Biden Presidency—all a planned fail—had so thoroughly moved the country away from the Dems, that the CIA had to fudge this election to make it look close. They actually stole many States FOR Harris, again to maintain the continued appearance of parity. Harris only won 19 states, but counting real votes I think she would have won less than ten, and may not have won any. Note that: only 19 of 50 states are now officially blue. And large parts of blue states are red as well. For the best example, see the state I happen to be in temporarily, California, which geographically is mostly red. I didn't know that until I got here. I am in the reddest county in the state. Only the big cities on the coast are blue, and Trump just won 40% of California, which most people think of as completely blue. This is true across the nation, where the sort of people who would vote for Harris are becoming hemmed into just a few big cities on the two coasts. A huge percentage of them are in just three cities: New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

And even that support is dissolving. The Republicans won Long Island and the large district just north of Yonkers. In Los Angeles, they are about to win districts 40, 41, and 47, which include much of South LA. They may also win district 27 north of LA. In Texas, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin are blue, but Fort Worth, North Dallas, North Houston, and North San Antonio are all red now. District 15 in far south Texas, heavily Hispanic and traditionally blue, just went red. You can thank the manufactured border crisis for that. In Arizona, Abe Hamadeh, who you may remember had his election stolen in 2022 with Kari Lake, just won northwest Phoenix, turning it red. West Phoenix is also red.

So the blue is quickly getting whittled down on that map. And the blue in southeastern states doesn't really count, since those districts are leftover Dixiecrats who aren't liberal at all. Those districts did not vote Trump and they often don't support Dem initiatives in the House. Which only leaves us with New Mexico, which you have to admit looks very strange on this map. It doesn't matter much one way or the other, since the population of NM is very low, with only three districts. But I see it as a signal nonetheless, since it is telling us NM is about the most corrupt state in the union, with Santa Fe being the most corrupt city outside of Chicago. I suppose that is due to the military presence left over from Los Alamos, and my guess is the state is actually run out of Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque. That is the feeling I got when I lived in Taos for 14 years. I will be told it is because NM is run by its Hispanic population, like south Texas. It just didn't flip red this year like parts of Texas did. Yes, but I am telling you it is probably because it wasn't allowed to flip red. They needed it to stay blue like Virginia, so that Harris could avoid a skunk.

For a while yesterday Trump was winning Virginia and Maine and Massachusetts and New Mexico and even Minnesota—Walz's home state. That would have been amusing, but they didn't let it go that far. The computers stepped in and got the numbers on-script. But I suspect they let us see the real numbers in those places for a while, sometimes up to 50% reporting, just for fun. At Fox they even listed Oregon as red for a little while, when votes first started coming in. I laughed out loud. What was that about? A computer glitch? A few initial votes from one eastern county? No, since no votes were reported when Oregon was red on the map. Again, I suspect it was either a tip of the hand, or an accidental moment of reality showing through the veil.

We are expected to believe Harris won 47% of the popular vote, but I for one don't believe it. After the most disastrous four years in any of our lifetimes, even a qualified and charismatic candidate couldn't have won a third of the popular vote from the blue side. Harris, who didn't win any primaries and hardly campaigned, may be the least qualified and least charismatic candidate ever put forward by either party, making Dan Quayle and George Bush II look relatively brilliant in comparison. But she wasn't just weighed down by her own inability to speak or make sense, she was weighed down by a party platform that was clearly a big joke inserted from Langley. I can just see the writers sitting around a huge mahogany table smoking cigars, trying to one-up eachother with the craziest stuff they could come up with. Drag-queen story hours? Tranny promotion 24/7? Post-birth abortions/infanticides? Forced vaccinations? Holy wars in Israel and Ukraine? Institutionalized censorship and repealing the First Amendment? Repealing the Second Amendment? Repealing the Fourth Amendment? Packing the Supreme Court? Open borders? Men in women's sports? Reverse sexism and racism at top volume, with white men being attacked all the livelong day just for being born? Civil War reparations 155 years after the fact? January 6 is worse than 911 and Pearl Harbor? And they might as well have had rampant inflation and food shortages on their platform, since their policies had created that as well. Given all that, any sane person should find it amazing Harris got even one vote, if she did.

What sort of person supports any of that, much less all of it? Not an old-school liberal like me. I don't support any of it. We are told that the only ones who don't support Harris are ignorant hicks on the far right, but I am a Phi Beta Kappa liberal and I don't support her—and it has nothing to do with how she looks—her gender or race. I have always been a liberal and still am, but by that I mean I am for the little guy and against the fatcats. That is what the term used to mean, up until the time of Reagan, say, when they began blackwashing it and flipping it. I couldn't be more against the current “liberal” agenda, which is why I was happy when Trump won yesterday. I couldn't help myself, even though I have always detested the Republican Party and I don't like Trump. Why don't I like Trump? Is it because he is opinionated and crude and crass? No, those are actually his best qualities. I don't like him because he is a fatcat. I don't buy the populist schtick.

The CIA made this election about ideas on Trump's side—they had to to make it work—so now they have to deal with that fact. Like I said, I don't believe either Trump or the CIA is earnest about any of this. They just said these things to fool the populace into moving along, as usual. But to solve the previous problem they have created a new and bigger one: they have a populace already on the edge of revolt and meltdown—from the vaccine genocide and other things—and they have now primed that populace with a lot of big promises. If, as I expect, they plan to renege on all those promises, as they always have, they will dig their hole even deeper. Remember, not one President since the beginning of time from any party has kept any promises. Just the reverse. They always do the polar opposite of what they promise. If they promise to keep us out of a war, the first thing they do after getting elected is sign us up for it. If they promise to lower the debt, they raise it. If they promise to clean up Washington, they immediately appoint a bunch of dirtbags.

Plus, this isn't 1901 or 1980, when the rulers still had full control of the mainstream media. As they have admitted recently, that is all out the window. They used the mainstream media to sell the planned fail, so the media just bit the dust with the Dems. The mainstream media was all-in with Harris, so as she falls into the dustbin of history, so do they. And Trump was even right about Fox, since they were paid off like the rest to sell the current story, though not to the extent CNN and NBC were. I followed the election last night, but since I don't have a TV I just watched the map at Fox5NY.com—the first thing that came up on a search. But when Pennsylvania was called for Trump and it was clear he was going to win big, I wanted to hear some of the celebration. I figured Fox National would be whooping it up. Nope. When I tuned in, some old gay black guy with a Valentino mustache was calling everyone a racist and a misogynist, blaming the white dudes for not supporting Harris. He was even harping on about the “insurrection” of January 6. And the rest of the panel sat there and listened to that. I couldn't believe it. Finally, Brit Hume—who looks like he just had a stroke, or was currently having a stroke—chimed in to point out that 51% of the country apparently didn't agree that Jan. 6 was an insurrection or that Harris was a good candidate. WEAK! No, Brit, not 51%, more like 80%, going by real numbers, and Trump was right then winning a big election: not the time to be repeating this old insurrection/racist/misogynist crap. So Hume should have told the guy to stuff a sock in it. Even if any of that been true (it isn't), the people had just spoken and any sensible news show would have at least pretended to bow to that for the time being, just as a matter of self preservation. As we saw, even according to the made-up numbers, this was not a squeaker, it was a landslide. Trump will take 312 electors and 31 states and 27 governors and 54 Senators and probably the House as well with 223, so this is not the time to keep calling voters garbage. I am sure it was even worse on the “liberal” stations.

I checked the Guardian the next day for this liberal take. This is how their very brave (unsigned) editors put it:

This is an exceptionally bleak and frightening moment for the United States and the world. Presented with a choice between electing the first black, female president on a promise of a sunnier future, and a racist, misogynist, twice-impeached convicted felon hawking hatred and retribution, they picked Mr Trump.

All spin, and not a word of it true, as we have come to expect, which means the Guardian can also kiss off a huge slice of its US readership. And not just its US readership. Though, like the US press, the Guardian is underwritten by Intel, so what do they care? Glossing the Democratic platform as a promise of a sunnier future is so Orwellian it passes belief it ever made it into print in Orwell's home country. As is the implied idea we should vote for Harris just because she is a black female. Is the fact she has an IQ of about 90, can't read from a Teleprompter, has zero qualifications to be President, knows nothing about history or the world, and manufactured her entire bio beside the point? Not worth mentioning? Not worth mentioning that the actual Democratic platform vies with Big Brother in its fascist dreams? I would vote for a black woman over Trump in a second if she ran on a better platform than his and was impressive in any way, but she didn't and wasn't. And if Trump is a racist, why did so many Blacks and Hispanics just vote for him? He just won more minority votes than Dole, McCain, or Romney, so were those guys more racist and Nazified than Trump? If so, the Guardian forgot to tell us back then. Also amusing that these minorities had a candidate to vote for that was both Brown and Black, at least according to the fake bios, but for some reason decided to vote for a racist Nazi. But I guess that according to the Guardian those voters are just ignorant garbage. I suggest the Dems keep calling them that, since it is a great way to win them back in 2026. Besides, Trump was never impeached, since it takes both houses of Congress to impeach and the whole thing in the House was staged anyway as part of the Jan. 6 script. And the “convicted felon” nonsense is more CIA theater, as the agents at the Guardian are well aware. The fake convictions come out of dummy courts, just as the news and these editorials comes out of dummy editorial offices and puppet editors.

This maundering from the Guardian is just more sad death-throes level stuff like we saw recently with the Washington Post, as it ate its own last arms and legs off in a final orgy of autophagy. The editors at the Post were the last people on Earth that read the editorials at the Guardian, and vice versa, so that circle is now broken. The gyre cannot hold.

You know who else died yesterday? “Gold standard” pollster Anne Selzer, who gave Harris a lead of 3 in Iowa the day before the election. Trump won by 13.3 a day later, so we have to wonder who she polled, to be off by 16 points just one day out. We can only suppose the DNC paid her off, but how does Selzer plan to pay the rent after she spends that money?

We see the same miscalculation from Hollywood and the music industry, which continues to sign its own pink slip (with the emphasis on pink, by two separate meanings). We are waiting for these people to just drink their Drano and move to Canada, as promised, but instead they keep yapping. Bette Midler actually quoted H. L. Mencken today, which is rich considering that the only people he thought less of than politicians were movie stars. Bette seems to have missed the bottom line here: the endorsement of Hollywood backfired, not because most people love Trump, but because the Dem platform and campaign was such a trainwreck. A scripted trainwreck, as I have argued. It's possible these Hollywood endorsements were also scripted to fail, with CIA knowing they would fail, since the endorsements only seem to come from actors and musicians that are on the edge of the grave or otherwise retired. They have no careers and need the money, I guess. The endorsements seemed scripted to fail due to the exclamatory and accusing form of them. For an endorsement to work, it has to be a sweet friend-to-friend endorsement, but these were all scolding, holier-than-thou dictats or hand-wringing, tear-drenched pleas or outright threats that just reminded us of how they treated us during Covid. Arnold: Screw your freedom, peasant, put on a mask, get your vaccine, and vote the way I tell you to, or we will doxx you as an anti-Semite, sexist, Nazi piece of garbage! Aniston: Get vaccinated and vote for my candidate or I will unfriend you and tell everyone we are on a permanent break! Fine by me, Rachel.

Still, I see it as a crushing miscalculation on the part of the stars, since even if is just another acting job for them, they are destroying their legacies. Midler has no real legacy, but some of them like Streep and Deniro do. Did. They just blew all the goodwill they had saved up from decades of extreme promotion. All for nothing, since Harris wasn't scripted to win no matter what they did. Surely they knew that going in? It is almost impossible to believe they don't know what they are a part of.

My belief is that they do know it, but don't believe in legacies. They figure they will soon be wormfood, so what's the difference? The important thing is to remain part of the vaudeville right up to the heart attack, and the CIA needs to continue to create division over the next four years. Trump's election wasn't the end of anything or the beginning of anything new, and to keep the final accounting from coming due for the Phoenicians, Project Chaos has to be kept at 11. Meaning, to explain Trump's inability to get anything done re draining the swamp, the CIA will have to manufacture four more years of fear, hysteria, inertia, fake news, and false crisis, and to achieve that the Dems and all their sorry actors on both sides of the pond will have to be kept at top volume, chanting Nazi, racist, sexist, rapist, felon, anti-Semitic, supremacist, garbage, insurrection, etc.

But regardless of whether the stars are dupes or hires, the fact remains they just cashed it all in with the Dems and the mainstream press. So they can't be used by the propagandists anymore, either. They are all part of the old Mighty Wurlitzer that just got eaten by termites. We are all now deaf to that old organ-grinding.

How long can CIA/MI6 continue to spin out a fake history and present no one believes in? I really don't know, but if they try to start a big new war to paper over all their other failures, as they have done so many times before, I think we will find out. That sort of patriotism is extinct, and I don't see anyone showing up for their war. This ain't 1941, or even 1955.

There is also this to consider: CIA has to take into account not just the optical landslide they just created, they have to take into account the reality on the ground, which they just covered up. They have to take into account the real numbers, which are no doubt frightening to them. This populist platform Trump is heading is the biggest thing since Reagan, and I think it is far bigger since it includes not only the Christian, moral majority angle, but an anti-war platform that is very un-Reagan, and an anti-Pharma platform (with RFK) that is completely unprecedented. No doubt CIA will answer that those are just empty promises, and don't even have to be taken into consideration. Except that those issues are now on the table and people won't forget that. The last thing the rulers need to be doing right now is teasing a vicious and rabid dog they have previously beaten. If they had no intention of keeping any of these promises, they shouldn't have made them, since that is guaranteed to introduce more instability into a system already wildly out of balance.

Another reason I suspect this has all been fudged to hide the extent of it is that it looks like total voter turnout is being vastly underreported. Remember, they faked Biden's number up to 81 million in 2020, supposedly the greatest number ever received, now a big joke. That made Biden seem very popular to some people on ventilators who weren't paying attention. Yesterday we saw just the opposite, as Trump's number is being held down so far to around 72 million, less than he got in 2020, though then he only got 47% of the total. That would imply far lower voter turnout totals from the States, except that that isn't what the States are reporting. Michigan has already reported the greatest turnout in recent history, though we have to hear about it from a Russian site. As usual, the rest of the world gets better intel about our elections than we do. Voter turnout isn't being reported to hide just how big the statement was yesterday, preventing it from being seen as a mandate, or worse as the cry of a revolution.

This all goes to say that the current cycle may look like a small step back to sanity, but it is very unlikely it actually is. I think it may be from the point of view of citizens fighting back, but not from the point of view of the governors getting the message. I see the new regime failing not because Trump is a Nazi or because the stated Republican platform is reactionary, but for far larger reasons, the main one being that it is nearly impossible to believe the Phoenicians have learned anything or that they have suddenly become the tiniest bit more benevolent, or the tiniest bit less malevolent. All other compass readings are pointing in the opposite direction.

Such as? They are calling Trump “The Phoenix” for his big comeback. Yeah, not a good sign. Plus, if the rulers had any intention of allowing Trump's populism to come to any sort of fruition, they would not be squelching it already by misreporting of numbers. If the deep state was really promoting or allowing Trump's platform as a corrective, and not just Trump the actor as a sedative, they would have no reason to downplay the voter turnout, the landslide, the numbers, or the celebration.

You will say I am raining on your parade just like the black guy at Fox, but I don't intend to. I am on your side here. Go ahead and celebrate. I did. I whooped it up a little last night, as a form of release. I could feel the people waking up one way or the other. But you have to follow through this time, demanding that Trump and the rest deliver on their promises. When he and his new Health Czar RFK and Congress refuse to prosecute Fauci, saying we have to let bygones be bygones, you have to raise hell. When he forgets to clean up all the conflicts of interest at FDA, CDC, NIH, and all the other regulatory agencies, you have to raise hell. When he lets Pfizer slide for mass murder, you have to raise hell. When he continues to send money and arms to Israel, you have to raise hell. When he continues to snorkel up the behinds of GoldmanSachs and the CIA and the Fed and WHO and WEF and the WorldBank, you have to raise hell. When he comes for your son or daughter for his new war, tell him to eat hraka.*

You have to keep better score, my friend. If your memory isn't so good after the Covid/Vaccine thing, write it down somewhere. Use a real pen and a notebook: these facts will stick in your mind better if you have to use your hands and carry around physical objects. That is just how it works. You are a physical object yourself, you know. Also, stay off the drugs, especially the sedatives and the antianxieties. You actually need to keep your anger on a boil. It is there for a reason. Learn to use it. Don't vent it on your wife or dog or fellow drivers, but save it for those who deserve it.

The rulers will never care what citizens think until the citizens make it necessary for them to care. The loss of Hollywood and the media puts them much closer to having to care, since they have lost a large part of their ability to fool you. Without that, they have to face your anger more directly, without the old means of deflection. Put in that position, they may have no choice but to respond to grievances. At that point it is much easier for them to give up some power than to use that power to fight their own people. Fighting your own people is expensive and time-consuming, and to be honest they are already maxxed out in that regard. Way beyond maxxed out. Way in a hole of their own making.

Walk with me a moment, rulers. How much do you spend each year fighting your own people? You will say nothing of your own, it all comes from taxes, so you are billing us for our own opposition. OK, that's very clever, but since that level of taxation seems to be nearly sustainable, let me put it another way: what if you took that trillion or so a year you spend fighting your own people, and redirected it to other purposes? That trillion a year may not come out of your own pockets, but it isn't going into your own pockets, either. Not like the military budget is, with defense contracts and so on. You will say, sure it is, via covert projects contracts. Faking events and all the rest. OK, but those projects aren't as wildly profitable as defense, since although you may be faking the events, you aren't faking the personnel. Intel takes huge personnel, and the costs are going into their salaries, not your pockets. Everything an agent makes, you don't make, right? And since those agents just blew their own cover and broke their own Mighty Wurlitzer, they are now worse than useless. Everyone can now spot the 500-pound gorilla in the room, so his upkeep isn't really worth your time anymore. He or she would be best re-assigned to some other project more useful to you, and if that new use isn't making more profit, it should at least be making more stability for you. Operation Chaos was a pretty good money-maker at lower levels, but now that everything is chaos all the time and everyone's cover has been blown, not so much. It is quickly becoming more trouble than it is worth.

So how could these agents be re-assigned to create greater stability? To see, let's go back to the beginning. Why was CIA created in the first place? Well, mainly as an FBI-type treasury dip, spinning somewhat necessary foreign war-time covert operations into mostly unnecessary domestic peace-time operations. But also as a response to real worries that two centuries of skullduggery in the US would be exposed and the whole facade of wealth-creation would fall. So all enemies of “capital” needed to be tailed and harassed by an ever increasing system of spies. Of course this just created a second and larger web of skullduggery and lies, which then created another, which created another, and so on and on, until now the whole world is little more than a hierarchy of agents all spying on one another. Which means the entire edifice is little more than a joke: everyone is now so dirty that no one can be blackmailed for anything. When everyone is sleeping with someone else's wife or husband, it is hard to threaten anyone with exposure. When all shame is fled, blackmail is impossible. So spycraft has destroyed itself in two ways, not just one.

That being the case, the danger is no longer that the populace will penetrate the secret of capital, it is that they will penetrate the secret of spycraft—that being that it is a total fraud, not worthy of any funding. Therefore, ending it would immediately create a massive double increase in stability, even without re-assigning a single agent. Something that no longer exists can't be investigated for fraud. Or, it could be, but it won't be. But even more goodwill—and thereby a sort of misdirection—could be achieved by re-assigning all those agents to a new and useful government project, say a massive arts/sciences/public works project. Some of them could also be assigned the project of rebuilding the mainstream media on logical principles, thereby recreating the trust that has been lost. My readers will say that seems unlikely, since they are already in control of the media: why would they become benevolent overnight? Well, they would become benevolent overnight because they were ordered to. Same reason they are malevolent now: they are ordered to be so. Perhaps they would prefer it otherwise. I assume they would prefer it otherwise, which would add yet another new layer to the stability.

I have proven art and science are in a derelict shape, requiring decades of rebuilding, and we have seen with all the train derailments, bridge collapses, and infrastructure meltdown that public works are also in need of massive help. A lot of agents seem to see themselves as failed artists of some kind or another, as I have shown you in many papers, and many of them would probably be happy to transition into more useful work.

For more than a century, modern western economies have been spending all their money on military, banking, and spycraft, which is money completely down the drain from the point of view of the greater society and thereby to any longterm stability for either the masses or the rulers. Which is precisely why society has been collapsing since WWII. Art and science were both destroyed to provide cover for banking, military and spycraft, dooming not only public works but everything else. It is exactly why we are where we are. But it is still and always easily reversible, since all it requires is a decision to go another way.

I will told art and science and public works aren't as profitable as these other things, especially military, since they don't burn the raw materials in such huge quantities. But maybe, just maybe, the point of civilization isn't burning raw materials as fast as possible. Maybe it isn't building an endless line of tanks and airplanes and armored vehicles that can rot on lots and tarmacs all over the country, never of any use to any real person. You will say the same could be said of art, except that people do pay to go to museums to see great art. They don't pay to go to military bases and look at lines of armored vehicles rotting on the lots.

Besides, art, science, and public works DO use a lot of raw materials, and they would use a hell of a lot more if art and science weren't nearly dead. My new theories and findings have opened up a whole new vista in physics, one with literally trillions of dollars of future profits and products. As just an opener, all physics, chemistry, and biology books now require a complete rewrite, which is an entire new economy by itself. Charge recycling by the nucleus also changes absolutely everything about medicine, especially regarding drug delivery in the cells. I have rewritten geophysics as well with charge recycling by the Earth and Solar System. I have destroyed Modernism, allowing for a new renaissance in painting and sculpture, another big economy. Poetry will also make a comeback in the near future, creating yet another small new economy. Classical architecture will make a similar comeback, creating a huge economy of new buildings and their decorations as people wake up, wash out their eyeballs, and realize that all the Modern buildings need to be scrapped as eyesores. So if you thought there were no jobs for our poor CIA agents on the out, think again. There will be so much innovation and rebuilding in the coming century there will hardly be enough people to do everything that needs to be done. And the best news is almost none of it can be done by computers. They will assist as they are assisting me write this paper, but that will be about the extent of it.

So what was the point of all that? The point was that if I were a billionaire Phoenician, the thing I would most want to buy right now is my own security, peace of mind, and stability. I would be looking around and saying to myself that as profitable as Project Chaos was, it was tiring. It was a lot of expenditure and effort to get more of what I already had in spades. And in a longterm profit/loss analysis, maybe it wasn't such a great plan after all, since the profit has turned out to be empty and meaningless, while the losses have been staggering. Art? Gone. Science? Gone. Architecture? Gone. Environment? Gone. Beauty? Gone. Clean water, air and food? Gone. Goodwill? Gone. Stability? Gone. Mental well-being? Gone. Health? Gone. Happiness? Gone. Trust? Gone. Innocence? Gone. The future? Gone, since it has been mortgaged.

But for every problem there is a solution. You are always allowed to change your mind, and I am telling you that you need to change your mind.
